Progress and a treat

Hey there Bloggies!  How was your weekend?  Well, mine was Busy (with a capital B)!  As you know I have been working my hinney off on the guest bath remodel and I have made progress.  Even after four trips to Lowes in the past four days, seriously.  I only wish I was joking!  I got the entire thing textured and mostly painted.  The new floor, that has turned out spectacular, is finally done.  I'm smitten and in LOVE with this new floor!  It turned out better than I could have ever imagined.  They have come a long way with peel and stick tile people.....it was soooooo easy and the results are spectacular!  Here is a picture of the floor after it was complete.
The grout that I was sooooo concerned about was super easy and made a world of difference in the look of the tile.  I love it so much I want to redo my kitchen with the grout able kind....it's fabulous!  I really don't have any other pics of the bath right now but hopefully I will have the painting complete and the built ins done in the next few days.  Hubby gets home tonight so maybe I can get some help with the built in wall.

The treat that I was referring to is just as great as the tile.  This is another find from Pinterest.  I sort of followed the recipe, but not really (I just winged it).  I'm not sure what they are called but OMG!  (I know I really just said that)  They are sooooooooooo good.  Thank goodness I've been working so hard on the bathroom because I ate all these!  I call them nutty buddies because they taste just like them and those were my fav as a kid.

Nutty Buddies

1 bag semisweet chocolate chips
2 packs graham crackers (half each cracker)
1 cup peanut butter
2 tbs. powder sugar
2 tbs. shortening

Melt chocolate chips and shortening over double boiler (low heat, stirring frequently).  After chocolate is completely melted and smooth dip the cracker in the chocolate and cover completely.  Place each on parchment and place in freezer.  In the meantime mix peanut butter and sugar until smooth.  After the grahams are cool and chocolate is firm to the touch spread pb evenly on half the crackers (we are making sandwiches here).  Place tops on each of the pb grahams and place back in the freezer to firm up.  After around 5-10 minutes remove from freezer and dip the edges in melted chocolate, you might have to use a knife to cover edges evenly.  Place dipped grahams back in the freezer to firm.  Take remaining melted chocolate and place in zip top sandwich bag, snip the corner and drizzle over grahams to decorate top.  Store nutty buddies in freezer in a zip top bag and allow to thaw for 2-5 min. before enjoying!
